Dexter Montgomery is an entrepreneur, author, business advisor, strategist, and philanthropist. He is the Owner and Chief Executive Office of real estate investment firm, The Blue Wave Investment Group LLC. He primarily focuses on the acquisition and rehabilitation of properties for long-term investments and wealth creation. Dexter is also the co-author of the book, The Book on Investing: The Ultimate Guide for The Savvy Investor (www.thebookoninvesting.com).

In addition, Dexter has served in high-level positions at the United States Department of Homeland Security where he retired as a Senior Budget and Program Analyst. Dexter also sits on corporate boards and since 2020, Dexter serves as a director on the Industrial Development Authority of Prince William County Virginia, where he is the treasurer and secretary.

Dexter holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from of Winston-Salem State University, in Winston-Salem North Carolina and a master’s degree in Policy Analysis from Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville, Illinois.
